About Barishal Regional Center
Barishal Regional Center (RC) is one of the most important Regional Centers among the twelve Regional Centers of Bangladesh Open University (BOU). According to the main city of the region and the location of the Regional Center office, it is named Barisal Regional Center. The BOU authority decided to establish this regional center to assure the availability of BOU resources and activities in the region through its Sub-Regional Centers and Study centers. Barishal Regional Center was established on 10 December 1994. It is situated in the southern part of Bangladesh that is Rupatali Housing State in Barishal District under Barishal division.
